Mike worked on finding correlations between the genetics and the expression of fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4), a protein produced by adipocytes associated with cardiovascular disease and diabetes. To do this, he executed a meta-analysis of genome-wide association studies on the blood levels of FABP4.
