Tackling post-Michigan Imputation Server troubles
When meta-analysing many genome-wide association studies a lack of overlap [in terms of variants] between genotyping platforms lowers power. However, imputation of missing genotypes using public references ensures >99% overlap and significantly increases power. Here I focus on fixing some post imputation issues when using the Michigan imputation server.

How I set up my Mac for Science
I prefer to use brew to install the ‘missing’ libraries on macOS that come in handy, like wget, or imagemagick, or rename. Here’s how went full monty and installed R and RStudio using brew.
